Piranesi is a cinematic visual story that reimagines the relationship between emotions, functions, and spatial connections with the help of machine intelligence (MI). This proposal encourages reflection on the role of developing technologies in enhancing emotional connections and spatial relationships.
Storyline
The narrative centers on a mother who wants to connect with her teenage daughter through virtual domains. She approaches a company that specializes in using machine intelligence to help people form deeper emotional connections through spatial relationships. The company evaluates the mother and daughter's emotional needs by comparing their MRI scans and analyzing their online presence.
Based on this analysis, the company creates a virtual world for the mother and daughter to meet and interact with each other. In this world, the mother can understand her daughter better and connect with her on a deeper level. The virtual world enables the mother to explore her daughter's interests and emotions, thereby strengthening their relationship.
Role of Developing Technologies
The project highlights the potential of machine intelligence and virtual reality to enhance emotional connections and spatial relationships. It encourages reflection on how these technologies can be used to understand and connect with others on a deeper emotional level. By reimagining the relationship between emotions, functions, and spatial connections, the project prompts us to consider the potential implications of these developing technologies.
